ATTORNEY KAREN PHU
As a member of Campiche Blue Arnold, PLLC’s litigation team experienced in personal injury claims, attorney Karen Phu’s practice encompass a wide range of areas including medical malpractice, maritime injury, long shore claims, motor vehicle accident claims, and investor fraud litigation. Karen is licensed to practice in Washington, and is also admitted to practice in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington and the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
As an active member of the local community, Karen is a board member of the Vietnamese American Bar Association, through which she hopes to improve legal representation and services for the local Vietnamese-American community. She is also a member of the Asian Bar Association of Washington and the Washington State Association for Justice.
Karen has deep roots in the Pacific Northwest. After completing her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, she went on to receive her law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law. During law school, Karen externed with Lane County Circuit Court Judges Charles M. Zennache and Karsten H. Rassmussen. She was also selected to edit the Oregon Review of International Law and was a member of Oregon School of Law’s Pro Bono Board.
Karen comes from a family of Vietnamese-Chinese refugees who fled Vietnam after the war to seek a new life in the United States. Seeing her family escape from oppression to rebuild their lives ultimately inspired her to become an attorney to provide a voice for those who might otherwise go unheard. In her free time, she enjoys visiting art galleries, travelling, and cooking.
