BICYCLE/PEDESTRIAN INJURY
Attorney Michael Blue rides to his office located in downtown Seattle most days. As a champion endurance athlete, Michael bikes hundreds of miles a week, logging several thousand miles on roadways all over the world. A member of bicycle clubs and associations all over the world, he sees firsthand that there are more riders on the road, highly designed bikes that allow bicyclists to travel at greater speeds than ever before, and sadly, more injuries as a result of negligent drivers or roadway issues (such as signage) that failed to keep up with an emerging cycling population.
Bicycle messengers face particularly dangerous situations every day: clogged traffic, doors flung open by drivers without a glance behind them, and aggressive drivers who show anger towards bicycle riders.
Riders have been seriously hurt – sometimes fatally - as a result of defective parts. Such cases are particularly complex, and Michael has developed a depth of experience in defective products litigation.
Pedestrians, too, are up in numbers, choosing walking to save money and improve their health. Ironically, injury statistics for pedestrians are increasingly grim. It is projected that nearly 4000 pedestrians will lose their lives this year. Nearly a quarter of them will be children.
Attorney Michael Blue is well known in the Washington triathlon and cycling communities, and brings a tough resolve when representing injured cyclists and pedestrians. He fights tenaciously to recover damages on their behalf. If you are a bicycle rider or pedestrian and have been injured due to negligence or defective product, seek counsel from an experienced attorney. The attorneys at Campiche Blue Arnold, PLLC, will work hard on your behalf.
